I love Dr Franklin; he is such a great person and awesome surgeon. I actually enjoy seeing him. Can't always say that about your doctor. I had an aneurysm and was horrified about it, but the staff was very patient and understanding and Dr Franklin made everything seem like no big deal, but I was the most important thing in his life at any and all time. Thank you, Dr Franklin.
Dr. Franklin is the most talented neurosurgeon I could have chosen for my procedure, and I am glad he was recommended to me by another patient of his. If I could go back and do this procedure again, I would choose Dr. Franklin again and again no doubt about it.
Aside from Dr. Franklin's phenomenal surgical skills, his sensitivity to my suffering restored my faith in mankind. At our first meeting he had knowledge of my entire medical history, assuring me that he would know me as a human not having to read my chart each visit to recall which patient was there. About Dr. Franklin
Dr. Franklin has completed specialized training in cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery and has recently co-authored a chapter in The Essential Neurosurgery Companion. Recently Dr. Franklin performed the first flourescence-guided surgery for high grade glioma patients in Tennessee. Dr. Franklin takes neurosurgery very personally, and his interest in the field began after his younger brother suffered a brain injury when they were young. Now, he takes great pride in helping patients and their families negotiate the often-complex decisions involved with brain and spine issues.
